We are a family consisting of people from all sorts of ages and backgrounds, including students. And we certainly seek to do our best to provide a "home away from home" for students.

But more than that, if you are a student, we want you to know that we value you as an adult who has a lot to give and contribute. The university years are a unique opportunity to explore and discover your own unique character and personality, talents and gifts. We therefore want to involve you as much as university life allows you in all that is happening.

We want to support you in these years and help you to not only get a degree, but to grow and mature in your relationship with God and in finding your place in the Kingdom of God.

What are we doing specifically for and with students right now?

A PLACE TO DISCOVER

We run a Student Alpha course, by which we want to help Christian students to introduce their friends to the Christian faith in a low-key environment. The course is for anyone, whatever faith or not they may have.

If you and/or your friends already are Christians you will find - as many on the last course found - that the course will help you to get a stronger understanding and grasp on what you believe, which in turn makes you more confident and ready to explain it to friends around you.

If you are not sure about faith, God, the purpose of life, etc. you will find that this is a great way of discussing your ideas and questions and in the process find out what it's all about.

A PLACE TO BELONG

We believe that every person - whether young or old, single or married or from whatever nationality and background - belongs in the family of God. We want you to find friendships that help you and a place where you can be yourself whilst at the same time to grow in your walk with God.

We want you to be able to be involved in all we are doing, and therefore provide lifts for you when we do things that are more than walking distance away from the campus. Just ask us.

A PLACE TO BE INVOLVED

We believe that God has a unique and special plan for every person. He has given you giftings and abilities, with which you can fulfil this plan with. We value each person and want to help you discover how God wants to work in you and through you. There are lots of opportunities and ways to do this in, so we encourage you to talk to us about your talents and your interests and discuss how we can work together to fulfil God's plan.

A PLACE TO REACH OUT FROM

As a student you have a unique opportunity to reach out to people around you at University with the amazing good news that Jesus loves them and wants to restore them and give them life to the max. We want to encourage you and help you in this, whether through friendship or through a variety of activities (besides the Christian Union or the Student Alpha course mentioned above). He has an amazing, eipic plan to reach the whole university, the whole nation, the whole world, but uses ordinary people like you to reach one individual after another. God wants you to have confidence in sharing your own unique testimony, and in seeing God work powerfully in and transform the lives of your friends.
